   Twenty Essex

   Twenty Essex has just finished all their submissions for the 2025/6 campaign: a total of 49 submissions across six guides.

   Simpler, Faster, Better

   The nice people in Canada, Ontario to be precise, have brought in the Simpler, Faster, Better Services Act, designed to put people at the centre of everything digital.

   We at handyside.legal had never heard of it when we first came up with a better way to do legal directories. Hardly surprising, as we were years ahead of the State of Ontario on this one.

   We designed a system all about making the onerous job of filling submissions to the legal directories a doddle. We have had silks tell us they have saved a whole day by using our easy online portal. Our system has saved millions of billable and staff hours over the years it has been in use, and we are about to upgrade it to make it even easier and more intuitive.

   Tranquility

   Swans are natural marketers. Not because they are elegant with long necks, but because they appear calm and collected on the surface while frantically working out of sight.

   At handyside.legal we love summer, so relaxing, but we are busy preparing ourselves for the onset of autumn. Mists of mellow fruitfulness don’t really feature. It is dedicated preparation for the new directories campaigns.

   Two out of three ain’t bad!

   Congratulations to our clients Brick Court Chambers and 39 Essex Chambers: Chambers of the Year and Highly Commended respectively. Using handyside.legal gave their teams the time to make their best case for the award.
